Was going to put it in the 79, but the GTS has got me too busy.
I've bought every one I have seen for the last two years that was local enough to fall into my price range after shipping.

Karl is right, the early motor is fun and simple, and won't get you into nearly as much trouble as a Euro S will, but Michael has a Euro car with no L or LH wiring, so he kinda needs to stick with a CIS motor.

Nice Spare, but is it a Euro S, thinking no from the damper.

"Fully functional" and Euro S was what I disagreed with, and runs well but needs TB and WP, or a new WUR, etc. doesn't count. Part of the reason I am so gungho for the hybrid motors is that I am starting to believe that 100% of the old motors need the heads off and new valve guides and head gaskets.

Sucks about the tabs and the twelve hour drive. When buying, I will definitely check for the tabs being intact. Thanks for the advice. Love the photo in your avatar BTW.

Actually, the 1980 is completely wired for L-Jet, down to the brain. Go figure. Obviously, the 1978 I picked up is all K-Jet.
