Default My very first Porsche

Went to check out a 1980 928 Euro yesterday and put down a deposit. Car will be deliver tomorrow afternoon. Very exciting about the purchase for Black Friday There are some works need to be done in the interior, seats are torn, dash crack, door panel worn out. Other than that, exterior has fresh paint job (3-4 years), engine runs great, cranks right up and get down the road fast even with auto (I know) Can't wait to get it and start to turn it into a beauty, then into a shark Glad to be part of the Porsche & Rennlist member/family. Glad to be able to drive one of my childhood dream car at last.

Best regards,

Leon L.

Here are some pics as promised.

Congratulations on the purchase It's a very exciting moment. I'm semi-new to rennlist, but the veteran members should be able to answer any questions you have regarding the car.

Welcome to the insanity! A strong running Euro S is always a good idea and while the 3 spd autos are not all that fast I do like the way they shift and they are pretty good in a roll on because 1st gear goes all the way to 62 mph!

Thank you all for the warmth welcome. Sorry for not able to post pics because I have not received the car yet. Tomorrow the owner will deliver the car to me. I will take some picture and post them up. I have done lots of research before decided to buy the 928. I just spoke to another gentlemen to swap my bike with his 944, then I found this 928. It is very near were I am and decided to give it a shot and go check it out. The rest is history. So, I went from zero Porsche to maybe 2 Porsches in 2 weeks.

Thank you again. Will post up pics once I get to snap a few.

Happy motoring.
