Hey everyone. Thanks for the well wishes. Didn't stop much. Only took a few pictures. I'll join the list and get a signature up as soon as possible.
Going to take the car to Ziebart and re-up the rust proofing as it will be in Iowa and I don't want to kill it in the salt here.
It WILL be washed professionally twice per week and stored in a heated garage while at home so it will dry out every day. I plan to wash it even more often when they put the ice removal stuff on the roads.

Turned 100K on the drive home. No problems at all. My (ron's old) 928 is a gem. Have a local guy in town here who is a Rennlist member, as plan to be tonight who can help me out.

I have a few questions I didn't find in the FAQ's read first so I'll post them later.

Thanks for the well wishes. Wish I had more time to stop and say hi to the folks in Denver and Las Vegas who wrote me but I was already through both towns when I got your messages. Drove two 15 hour days to get home.

That's great you made it! I've been worried about her, since you left. I don't think that Ron drove her that far in the last three years.

Yep. I put on another 300 miles today and have 400 to put on Tuesday. Got to take her out and stretch her legs up to just over 140 with a buddy leading the way in his Dinan 355i. Had a little stumble in acceleration at 140 but pushed through and past it. New Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires on the way to replace the GoodYear (rear) Ultra HP (front) tires that won't cut it in the winter.
Little stumble after 5 minute idle and the voltage drops way down. That will have to be fixed before the cold hits soon.

Ben, come on over Wednesday night. I'll be home all night. First Jeff (and Sherry) Spahn in the phone book.
