Power window question
My passenger side window does not move up and down. When I hit the switch on my 78 the voltage meter drains but the windows does not go down. What should I start looking at first? The power motor or the switch? The Drivers side window works fine.
Thanks

sounds like you might need my passenger door motor. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Let me know if it comes to that
It could be the mechanism is jammed. either way, you might want to get in there and check it out.

I also thinking that. The owner said it just stop working a few days before I bought it.

On the '79 the motor can come apart and you can service it. It is pretty much a matter of cleaning out old chunks of solidified grease and putting in fresh. Plus clean the commutator with scotch brite, although if yours is pulling current the commutator is not the problem.

Could be as simple as a sticky switch shorting as you mention the volts drop. I had issues with the driver switch sticking on which meant the pass door and sunroof did't work.
