Stephen,

congrats on your purchase. I guess thats what you were calling to tell me a week or so ago. I guess you won't be needing that 84 now. Darn, shoot, shucks, I guess I may have to keep it. ;-)

Give me a call sometime. I'd like to see your car.

Shawn Yes that is why and I will be giving you a call. I know that somehow you will forgive me for not buying your FIRST 928! I couldn't wait to get this whole 928 thing going and this was sitting about a 1/10th of a mile from work. I went home a different day and there it was.

Paint is coming and then I will be talking to you more in regards to the turbo setup we spoke about.

Look forward to meeting you!

Stephen

Default Pics and a video

I have Pic's of the car and a video of a dyno baseline. The car dyno'd at 202.6rwhp. Not bad for an ol'gal.

You can see the pic's and video on photobucket.

Hi Iwanna928,

I just purchased an 83 928S from a guy in South Pasadena. Car is in good shape, paint interior etc. I did the ac delco alternator mod and charging good. I also live in Largo. If you need some help, let me know. I also have a full set of 928 repair manuals that I purchased with the car.You are more than welcome to look at them. Let me look at your paint. I manufacture professional auto detail products for a living. We may be able to bring the paint back temporarily until you get her painted. Not the rust though. I have many years of auto detailing and detailing chemical experience. My shop is on Starkey road in Largo. Take care.

153bigblock. Thank you for your help! Greatly appreciated!
Joe Lets get together! I will pm you. Love to see your car!

Thanks for the comments. She is running well and has a lot of good points. 202rwhp is a good sign that she is running healthy and ready for some boost. Paint, s4 brakes, 85/86 tranny and some suspension work and she will be done. Should keep me busy till I retire.

I met Stephen the other day. He came by my shop to show me his 928 and we cleaned up his paint and wheels. He took me for a ride in his car and it rode great.
I just purchased an 83 928S auto, but have not had a chance to drive it yet.

We were on a road and he banked a hard left at about 80 or 90 mph. I thought we were going to wipe out, but that 928 planted its *** and gripped the road. I am confident to do that in my 86 Corvette, but I think the Porsche handled better than my vette. I am very impressed with the 928 and cant wait to get mine registered this week and drive it. Thanks for the ride dude.
