Right. People don't understand what your decision points are. (money, time and goals)

I suggest fixing what's broken and the related parts that show excessive deterioration. These are old cars and making one "like new" is really costly.

I'd do the hose that's leaking and other hoses that are softened, swelling or dry rotted. Maybe the heater valve. I'd be tempted to drain the radiator and block and put in fresh coolant.

I would suggest replacing what you see to be bad and just inspecting everything else carefully. Most of the 928 coolant hoses last an amazingly long time. Also, unless you plan to pull and disassemble the motor, everytime you replace a part you risk damaging parts around it. Wiring and vacume lines and stuff get old and brittle and if you are in there ripping out coolent hoses it is easy to damage them.

My steps would be:
1) inspect soft fuel lines
2) replace the damaged part
3) throw a bottle of coolent in the back in case you do spring a leak
4) inspect everything else
5) run it for a while in the driveway, looking for leaks
6) drive it for a while to see what happens

That isn't a heater core, it's an air conditioning evaporator.

You just saved me money, don't have to buy it if it was listed wrong. Thank you!

No problem. Wouldn't want you to get it all apart and find out then...
