Thanks Mark!

I got 1:58 off the video as a lap time, how is that for a street car at Laguna?

Cheers,

Was that 1:58? That's pretty damn good w/ 3 passengers, street tires, lifting on the back straight, following another car, etc. I'd guess that car could go 1:52 empty & w/ no other hindrances.

I'd like to try.

Still looks like a pregnant cow trying to run a horse race.

I don't care how fast it is.

Mark - did you notice how Hurley Haywood shuffle steers? Maybe you could win the Daytona 24hr multiple times too if you emulated him . . .

Our second time on the track ever, with the stock 928 with C2 wheels, we ran 1:56 . Both, my buddy with his '95 993 with big wheels and tires, both of us on pure street rubber.

He is so far out of race mode, he probably thinks he is taking the kids to the lake.

True, but the end of turn 11 birm exit to start finish, is impressive for such a large car. anderson runs 5.5 seconds, I run 6.5 seconds was 7 seconds with the stock motor.

I think it would be more exciting to see a chevy tahoe do a lap!

It was far more exciting to see the 1922 Mercedes run around the track... driver and on-board mechanic!!
