You have the same lean waterfalls that I do, just less severe. I'm putting 36# back in the car next week from the 60s now.

Yep,

Shark plotter doesn't like using a 'comma' as a decimal place (as we use in Europe), but instead is looking for a 'period'.
All the user configurable data that is in the sharkplotter.ini file needs to have any 'commas' replaced by 'periods'.... (Except data that specifies 'window size')...
Then you should be able to get it to work correctly.

Jim had mentioned that he would look into fixing this, not sure if he has, as I haven't used SP for a while and thus haven't looked to see if there are any program updates...

Erkka, The current release is 1.0.38. If you have ver 1.0.18 you can run the updater from Sharkplotter's help menu, or just download the current version from the website (Sharkplotter.com.

Win-7 is causing some issues for the updater but the download should install OK.

(The simplest way to get around Win7 issues is to turn off "UAC" (Windows control panel, select small-icon view and click on "User accounts", then "Change User Account Control (UAC) settings", and set notify to "never"). Do the update, make sure everything works, then turn UAC back on if you want).

Cheers, Jim

Thanks for the advice. I don't know where I got idea 1.0.18 was latest version. In any case I tried both 1.0.38 and 1.1.26 on different laptop. It gets even more interesting. No matter what settings I put into INI file before starting plotter.exe it still gives same error and entire INI is deleted. Didn't notice that before. Never seen any software do that.

Once again I'm trying to use Plotter. This time on dedicated XP laptop which was installed with US settings. Still same float zero problem as before on version 1.0.38.
