My appolgies. It is very obvious, without my input, this would not have occurred. Something bizarre occurs when I mention that all I do 24/7 is work to improve the 928 model, with 45 years of dedicated attention to the process.

After reflecting on this, this evening, I have elected to completely "bow out" of assisting you.

There are, quite obviously, many people with far superior knowledge, who have developed pieces far superior than I could ever hope to offer.

Pick one of these experts who have spent years developing pieces and the technology required to make a 928 perform like a modern car (with modern tires) simply by making minor alterations to the refreshening of your suspension, like I have done.

My regrets for the "dumpster fire".

Without this forum I would be much more stupid and don‘t know such great people all around the world.

So, if someone don‘t like the other one, which is normal in real life, don‘t search the confrontations.
Debating over technical differences is the salt in the soup, a technical forum needs the discussion.

Everyone is free to buy his stuff from his preferences business.

My son is 13, I think in a few years he will live one year in an US family and go to school there to widen his sight of the world and I hope I can meet a few of this group in real life.

actually sponsors should be held to even higher standards. just my opinion.

 

Maybe we could add "MOTOR MOUNTS" to this thread? That would most certainly calm everyone down.

The sad part is someone will have to sift though all this GARBAGE to get to the GEMS.

There is good intel here from "stock" refresh to "LETS GO NUTS!!!" and some people actually showed their work.

Caught the drift...but why should people with private IP have to show their work?

 

With certain individuals we're damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

If a mod were to do a good "clean-up" of this thread, I have zero doubt said moderator will receive no less than 3-4 nasty PM's accusing them of bias, removing "truths", damaging the forums and at lease one of these PM's will include a thinly veiled threat of some sort of action being taken outside the forum against said moderator and other folks.

This is all speculation of course. I wouldn't be party to any sort of "minority report" style future speculation. Just speaking from experience and feedback from other moderators, past and present.

Thankfully I haven't received a chain of threatening voicemails yet from one of these individuals. The (now former) moderator who did receive such messages forwarded them to me in full, so there's no hearsay or speculation as to what actually happened.

Fun times huh? All around a hobby.

Granted, I'm telling people what we have developed and why, because we are "way ahead of anything, anyone has done.

I can point this out, in dozens of threads, where one of the trolls starts the whole sh!tshow by attacking me/my products with complete impunity from any type of moderation.​​

I'd submit that you would have a different viewpoint, if you read entire threads, instead of just snippets, sent to you, by a prejudiced moderator.

 

Why would someone with a private IP need to keep expressing their opinion about the IP? If a vendor wants to say, "Hey...hit me up..I have a solution,"...FAIR...that's not what's happened here.
