Greg:

This is really confusing. Why would you ship something that wasn't paid for, in the first place?

Am I understanding this correctly? Three years went by and the buyer had still not paid for the pieces?

Greg
He got his money, someone at the shop he sent the parts to walked away with them, I think.

Exactly.... and then probably sold them.

Regardless, I hope you find the missing stuff.

Huh?

All we need to do is have some PMs go to the RL people in charge and this can happen... and no public vendor-bashing needs to take place.

Something tells me they aren't registered, paying users, and most likely don't use the name they used to use when they were registered paying members....

Well, it can't be a Greeves Silverstone proto or a factory Velo KTT, because it's got to be a mfr still in biz- inquiring minds want to know! Fess up!

Sorry to hear about the missing parts Greg. It's a shame that it only usually happens with the rare hard to find go fast bits.
Had a set of AMC V8 heads (for my Javelin) misplaced by a fellow car club member who didn't know what happened to them - lost, gone, stolen forever. Probably running on his car or someone elses car he sold them to, who knows. 20 years later we cought up at a concourse day car show & shine by accident, he had grown so old in that time, hard to tell if it was him, he could bearley speak, walk or do anything. Thought about mentioning my heads ....carma possibly
I engrave cylinder heads now ever since that time, with a signiture so I get the same ones back from a shop if I have to send them out.

I'm sure something will surface, how everlong that may be.
Cheers,
Glenn

WOW.

After all the crap we went through on this, I will gladly display our name. We used to be Rennlist sponsor, but could no longer afford it.

The company he refers to is Motorsport, Inc in Salt Lake City Utah. We have problems from time to time with customers, but no one that I know of has been left high and dry ever.

This is an unbelievable tale of a "who dunnit". I suspect it to come to light soon the whole story. It is really worth reading. The names, events and details have NOT been changed to protect the innocent".

Next move Greg. Why not have the other party write the complaint. I had sold you products to Australia with no problem. Motorsport, Inc and the other party I thought were trying to resolve this issue and I still will. I honestly think we got bent over a barrel, but still acted with great integrity with the solutions we came to.

No need to "out our company" I already have.

Its your move to tell the WHOLE story if you wish and the person that you represent so that people can make an informed decision.

I await reading your response as we are being dragged through the mud after giving up so much already.

Thanks for making the whole headache public. Notice how I don't mention the other party our of respect for dealing with him?

Really a bad situation you getting in there as s third party to the situation.

You won't find any parts anywhere because they weren't ever stolen or sold. This is a complete wild goose chase. Seems like more blackmail to me. I imagine that this will be a story unlike much of which has ever been written on Rennlist.

Look forward to reading all the details as you further present them.

Thanks for your subtleness but we are willing to come out and say when someone is accusing us of wrong doing.

The seller of the stolen parts that Greg Gray is trying to locate should be banned.

Somebody has just been skimming the posts, huh?

Seller #1: Greg Gray
Buyer #1: Un-named, health-challenged victim #1
Receiver #1: Un-named company (but just identified)
Seller #2: Unidentified person that should be banned -if an RL member, and legal action against
Buyer #2: Unidentified recipient of stolen goods and therefore, victim #2.

I think those are all of the players, as told so far.

Well. This is interesting.

I have personally known and dealt with Garrity and Dave at SLC Motorsport for going on 6 years. I have always found them to be men of complete honesty and integrity.

I'm also anxiously awaiting (as Paul Harvey would say) the rest of the story. Your move, Greg.
