Apparently, you haven't read this thread in its entirety...

...or, you would know that Greg has already been paid for his parts. He was informed by his buyer that the shop that took receipt of the parts -didn't deliver the parts the buyer paid for.

So? I have seen users with join dates in the 2005-2006 range that still say "New User" and have less than 5 posts. Perhaps they should have "Lurking Since ----" instead...

CORRECT. I stated that earlier as well. Just like Internet Brands (IB) shows fraudulent offer emails in a special section to warn people -so too, should anyone perpetrating any criminal activity associated with or originating from this forum be identified and banned.

But then, you'd know that if you had read the entire thread -not just the last page.

Bottom line here is if there is nothing to identify this particular set of heads... how can we look for it? More than a few of us would love to help -but how? We can't see the pics, we can't know the names, we can't be told the entire story because it is in litigation... how exactly can anyone do anything to assist in this case?!?

It is a wasted thread without any details.... IMHO.

You obviously have an axe to grind here. How long ago did you get ripped off? I hope you don't obsess on this all the time. Life is too short.

Thanks again! I don't liked to be ripped off.

This seems like a matter that has been discussed and the people have been banned. What can the community do to help with little information?

I still think this is a tight knit group and have seen many examples of that in the short time 've been here. Thanks for pointing that out. How that matters not sure. Others have been very welcoming.

I still think this is going no where, but since others want vengence I will no longer say close this thread. If you really cared to help others maybe you would still post your great vast knowledge that me as a newoob could actually find useful

So, if I may ask... how did you miss that Greg isn't the one that is out any money?

His buyer contacted him to say the shop didn't deliver the correct parts. Greg is only acting on that person's behalf -not his own.

IMO, it is between the buyer and the shop and/or delivery service.

No need to have ruffled feathers here Riffle... we all want to help, but our hands are tied without specific details.

Honestly not meant as sarcasm. I really would like it if you would share more. That's what will make this the great place you used to remember, the sharing of wisdom. I certainly don't claim to know it all and don't plan to ever know it all. I enjoy asking questions and use the search all the time when it works " lately it's been getting better."
Just because I haven't been posting long doesn't mean I can't help. I need more information then others to be able to do it, so I asked questions. I was told that my questions couldn't be asnswered due to legal reasons. So I figured this was for those in the know. You came in and outed the unknown party. But if I read it correctly you are against the very person Greg is trying to help. SO now I'm really confused

Without the benefit of history and lack of names, this thread, has been impossible for those of us new, relatively new, or just forgetful, to have understodd any of this. The OP by Greg seemed reasonable but without pics or reasons why it just wasted a ton of time for the many who have read this thread.

Jack, nothing to be gained here except the final description you just provided.

Thanks for the clarification and introduction. Before this last post I didn't know Jack!

The search function is a wonderful tool. The parties involved are well known to those that have been around for awhile. Jack is a very stand up guy and giving him **** is not helping anyone.

I don't think anyone here was really kicking Jack around specifically, but for those of us not in the know about the whole matter his post was and is like another zombie from a bad B movie, which this thread has been until now. Just when you think the zombies are all dead another one pops up when you thought it was safe to go outside. Almost farcical.

No drama intended by me, or others.

Jack thanks for the warnings. If so many others were aware of this cretin how come no one spoke up sooner? Strange.

Jack, thanks for weighing in and contributing your knowledge.

I also disagree with those who say that this is a waste of time. Greg's original post didn't say as much as might be desired, but that hardly makes it useless.
And many of the subsequent posts added confusion rather than clarity, but that still doesn't make the thread worthless.

Jack, thanks again for your contribution.

+1

Not kicking anyone around. But Greg chose to help his customer and this just seemed to be counter productive to that fact.

Does that even qualify as an apology?
I just want to make sure so I can use it the next time the wife and I don't see eye to eye.

It sure does... I misinterpreted his having a misunderstanding.

(and the wink will help with the wife for certain!)
