Wow! Good job.

Well, did you honk? (that minivan would've thought my horn was stuck, LOL)

Dwayne
Nice find...very clean...but all of your 928's are!!!

Hmm but the way I see it you have 5 928's and 3 of them are the "wifes"....so only 2 are yours...so you are still 1 behind right?

I think you need a 1980 Euro 5 speed with Pascha interior....like Helga....she needs a bunch of work...but could be yours for minimal $$$$

Beautiful Dwayne, and perfect body too. Reminds me of my former iris blue (altho I like your interior better). Here's an idea for the intake refresh - two stage powder coat (silver under blue - it really popped!):

Dwayne, That thing looks amazing! I kinda thought the wrap was overkill, but forgot it was going cross country! Killer looking car. It's in good hands.

Ed, That intake looks awesome! I'm not sure i've seen on Blue like that before. Very cool!

Dwayne,
Way to go! Great car!

I let Chris know you made it home safe. He's rustic right now, sitting around a campfire on a lake, drinking Margaritas and puffing on a cigar.

Thank you ALL for the great comments - I enjoyed reading them! Wife wants me to do the mechanical rundown on Iris ASAP so she can start driving it but I have to clear a few other things off my plate first so it will probably be a few months...

With such a sweet fleet, what kind of storage do you have?
Yes, space has become a priority lately with the new additions to the family. Except when driven, Virginia and Idaho stay in the garage at all times. Iris is in a locked storage unit for now. She will be parked in an enclosed shelter I'm building on the concrete side yard next to our garage. California is my daily driver and is parked outside/unsheltered at all times. I just moved Colorado to my shop in Oregon last month - he'll stay there until I get him running again.

Right. Fortunately, the three low mileage ones are kept out of the sun. My wife rarely drives them in the mid-day (always does her errands at 0600 before the sun and the crowds come out). However, because it's so dry here with the low humidity, interiors can dry out. I do need to be more diligent about applying leather conditioner on a regular basis.

No, no honking for me - too busy taking the picture before they got away! BTW, my wife saw your avatar pic of your Velvet Red GT - it's the first time she's seen that color on a 928 and she LOVES it - wanted your car until I told her it didn't have a Rogerbox - she's not a 5-speed fan for her drivers. You have a beautiful shark there!

I thought it could be you driving! Or I thought you may have had a hand in tagging the minivan....in an act of defiance!

Helga....interesting! ...minimal $$$$, huh?? Tempting. You are right, I am still 1 behind....or I should say WAS 1 behind. I just sent my deposit in on a sunroof delete '87 that will be mine - probably a daily driver that will eventually replace California. I'm on a roll.

Thanks for the pics, Ed. Your Iris Blue looked very nice there. I've got some time to think about what I want to do on the intake so I'm always looking for ideas. THANKS!
