I'm sorry to hear about this incident, but most importantly, you are able to tell the tale.

I hope you can figure out how it happened, and do something to prevent it from happening again. The car can probably be repaired or replaced, you can't.

Yeah?
Do you remember the mess that happen?

I never got an answer to that one, and never heard the "everybody can be replace" anymore.

Sorry about the car. I'm sure it can be fix, 928 are hard as hell.

Any humor is often better then non....
We all share the hope that Leslie is fine, and hope the fact that she came home to post exhibits this.
All of us hope that the car wasn't hurt bad, no-one would ever wish anything bad on others...

PM's are often the best manner for dealing with serious issues....

My bets are...
He is being consoling right now...
They are looking over the damages....
They will post pictures...
And Leslie, in the style she is known for, will get back at all of our humor in triplicate! I hope WE can take it

I didn't see the comments as anything but cheer up Leslie, you are one of us and we know how you feel, and we know things will get better.

No doubt all will be fine.

My wife's score: two (non 928) engines, a set of volvo lifters, two 928 wheels and a fence.

Mine: 1 car (crx), 1 engine (vw bus), 1 transmission, 3 motorbikes (1 ninja, 1 ducati(mech fail) , 1 rc51). That's all I can recall and I'm sticking to it.

We'll all be here for support!!

And I thought worf's post was funny. Or will be in a week or so.

Leslie, glad to hear you seem to be OK, but you might want to go see a chiropractor ASAP to make sure that you didn't knock part of your spine out of alignment. Hopefully you still feel OK in the morning.

Don't worry about the car -- it's unfortunate, even painful... but in the end it did it's job, allowing you to walk away.

Ummm... my post wasn't supposed to be funny.

I was asking why those two thought their post's were.

Not quite sure what happened here but cars are NOTHING compared to your safety and good health. **** happens and I am glad to hear you are okay. Cars are replaceable; you my friend, are not.

Wow, Leslie, I'm sure you're upset but it probably looks worse than it is. These cars are designed to absorb the impact so that you don't have to. Your car took one so that you didn't have to.

I hope you're OK and even if the car is a total, I'm sure Kevin can find or build you one to replace it in no time. If anyone can, he can.

Let me know if you need anything. Compared to Kevin my wrenching skills are barely more than as a gopher, but whatever spare parts I've got are yours for the asking.

Leslie,
I am very sorry to read about this. As much as we love them, they are cars and car accidents are fact of life. The fact that you are OK is the ONLY thing that matters here.
Take care of yourself,

+1
I'm from the camp that says anything can be fixed. People sometimes can't.

As long as you're OK, and you should be checked by a doctor, (Things can show up quite some time later....)

It sucks, but the car can be either repaired or the best bits transplanted.

Best,

Rob.
