Earlier this winter I was taking a corner and came across a giant chunk of snow/ice.
To make a long story short, my front spoiler is looking pretty rough, the majority of my grill is missing, and I need to replace some screws. My right spoiler duct is also missing. So, since I have to order a new sway bar anyway I figured I'd add the parts on there that I need to make the front of my car not look like something out of a horror film.
So here is my parts list right now, but I need to know what screws/bolts I'm going to need. As you can see in the picture my spoiler is sagging, so I'd like some advice on what screws I need to fix that as well. The bottom horizontal grill piece is still in place, barely, and the brackets are broken so I think I am going to have to replace that too.
My spoiler is actually completely separated on the left side, but I want to get the parts first before I tackle that, but some tips on repairing are going to be beneficial too.
Right Spoiler Duct 80-86
928 505 160 02
Grill, Horizontal: 3
928 559 135 04
Grill, Vertical Bracket
928 559 137 02
Grill, Vertical Bracket: 2
928 559 139 02

First off, it looks to me like you need a right brake duct. Left/Right is done from the car's perspective.
When I did this, 928Intl sold a fastener kit. Then again, it's just a bunch of common-sized bolts where you need them, just varying lengths.
Doesn't look too badly damaged. The connection points for the spoiler on either side of the grill may have moved but can be bent back.
Check the grill slats for straightness. If tey're at all wavy it's very noticable.

Thanks, I'll check for the kit...and you're right, I do need a right brake duct! I'm not sure what I was thinking but you saved me from ordering the wrong part.
As far as the grill slats go...only one remains...it looks straight but the brackets are broken and I'm not sure if that can be repaired or not.
Actually when I double checked, the duct itself is still in place, what I actually need is the spoiler duct! I didn't know they were two separate parts when I first looked. The spoiler duct is $74 new...does anybody have a used one they'd be willing to sell?
Thanks!

Oh. Another thing.
The three slats are not the same. The bottom one is drilled to be bolted to the spoiler. The top two do not have the holes.

I figured the PET would show two of one and one of the other but it just shows the one P/N for all three slats.
A while back, I needed three, bought them, painted them and then found out the bottom one was different. Put that bent, ugly one back on. Actually a different casting to have more meat for the bolts, although I suppose they could be drilled and tapped.
My car is a pretty early S and featured metal brake ducts which amazed a very knowledgeable part seller, along with a coupe other part oddities. Perhaps I'm alone in this and later parts are all the same and one is just drilled? All drilled?
Anyone care to comment?

Anybody? I already ordered the spoiler duct on eBay and that's on its way, so all I need to know now is the parts I am going to need to replace my grill. I think I have a pretty good idea of what I need, but I just want to verify.
Thanks

Wow those look great...are you selling those? Are those custom slats as well?
Now that I think about it, it would be nice to see some close up pictures of an installed grill thats still intact. I never bothered to look at my grill before.

I'm sure i will be selling them, I'm not sure it I will do or offer to run them through a Rennlist 928 supplier.
No the Horizontal cross bars are stock cast aluminum. I still need to paint are put them on my car.

Thanks Dave, by the way I love that picture of Ronnie ![Cool](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Casey, the parts are made from a cast urethane material in about a 70 to 75 shore D material and thickin up to be much stronger.
They do fit better than the picture shows, I didn't have any screws in them. They where just laying there.
The next thing I think I will be working on are the bezels in the front around the fog lamps and turn indicator lights.
Cheers
Matt
