Yeah, but you'll look all bad-***.

Who needs to turn quickly, anyways?

Got the beast out today for a 30 mile run, no rubbing or hitting so this looks pretty good so far. I was concerned that while I raised the rear 10 turns on each side, the left side appeared to be higher when i was all done, though this was the side i completed last, thus running it out today settled the suspension. She handled very good, much better on the wider tires.

In all, the 10 turns gave me about 1/2" on each side. The real test is tommorow when I fill the gas tank. I plan to check this every 5 gallons or so make sure all is good. I may take it up another few turns to be safe, though I want to get the point mm measurments with a full tank before I do this.

As for the offset, the new wheels are 18" with 59mm (boxter) so I am just at the line of the inner lip.

I'm gonna have to go with don't roll them. To many crazy things happen on the road to ride that close. I went from a 285 to a 265 for this very reason.

I am such a looser, I can't believe what i just noticed.....

I have torn the rear wheels off the car four times now; adjusting the suspension height to keep these new boxter wheels from brushing against the inner fender lip... someone suggested that there may be factory spacers on the rear (84S) though in all the times I have ripped the wheels off I did not see any spacers but....... "yes" there are 21mm factory spacers there, they were stuck to the wheels when i took them off... it never occured to me look inside the wheel rather than on the car...

anyway, cut off the end of the nuts and tried the wheels without the spacer, looks and feels great... I will add an 8-10mm spacer in the next few weeks to bring it back into offset spec, though all this work with the suspension, and the answer was right in front of me. Tommorow I will bring the rear suspension back down to spec as well... Unreal! and thank God i did not roll the fenders...
