Default I NEED YOUR PICS!

Guys,

Trying to put the finishing touches on my 928 DVD. Getting close to finished. Will have it at OCIC for sure but probably won't do a public unveiling before then. Some private stuff for last minute changes...

Here is what I need Pictures of (they need to be pretty high res so 5 megapixel or more sent to my email as a big jpg file is best for me):

4.7L US engine
4.7L Euro engine
15" Phone dial wheel - close up shot with tire in frame is good, but not much else...though I can crop it as needed

The next model years I will need 3-5 pictures of (one front, one side, one rear, one interior, and whatever else you might like to throw in):

'79
'80
'83
'86
'87
'91
'95

Thanks for any help you can provide, send pics to:

James - you need another category for the "rather unusual"

What comes to mind are Sterling's & Louie's engine builds, Paul's custom interior, Keiths console, someones CS, TS, NOS & Turbo engines, the electric/jet sharks, rare factory options (wood, leather etc), cosmetic updates, (hood pads, intake/cam powder-coat wings/skirts, body kits, lights, wheels etc...) not too many in each category and only really good pictures of each but enough to show that stock isn't the only way to go either...!

Maybe a slideshow of collage pages would work for some of these...

James, I have a picasa page with several pics of my 80 US [wip]. If you check the other galleries, there are also several pics of the various DFW weekend GTGs. If you want any, mail me at john[dot]leidel[at]gmail.com and I'll send over the high-res originals.

Andrew,

I will need those pics direct to my email in a larger file size. That is very important when blowing things up for a TV screen...finding some of the pics I have just don't work very well and will go back and change them out.

Can't use pics that have other folks cars in them...only YOU can give me the rights to use pics of YOUR car/s and I need them to MY INBOX for that. Just trying to stay on the right side of the law and all here guys. Pulling them off an internet site is going to yield poor results too as those pics will be to small in resolution (generally the pic will need to be above 1MB to really look good blown up big, but I do have some in the 500kb size that have stayed pretty nice).

Larry, got'em thanks!

John, will send you an email.

Still need a '79 and a US 4.7L and an '83 model...

Alan, that sounds like an entire new DVD to me... I don't think I'll be making that one though. This one has taken a TON of time (which I do currently have) but at least most of the capital investments have been made (like a camera, etc).

I just hope you guys will find it fun and interesting and worthy of your $$ so I can at least not lose to much money on this. I have enjoyed it regardless and I am getting pretty good at using iMovie and iDVD too!

James, I can send you a higher res version of this US 4.7L if it's what your after. Had I known you needed this I would have wheeled it out on the driveway and taken something prettier. Too late now as it went back in on Tuesday.

You might contact Dan Perez -- He posted some nice engine pics here and may have more.

John, I would rather have a shot of that 4.7L in the car actually than out...I have a shot of my Euro 4.7 on a stand just like that but I don't have one of it in the car and we use a different intake system so it is not indicative of a stock look...

Michael, will check it out...

It's back in the car, and should be running tomorrow. I'll roll it out on the driveway and take some shots for you.
