If (and that's a big if) I place the ad for the 928 Limited Edition in Road & Track the price is going to be $928

I will need to see how many are left and the end of the day, but I think that would be a cool ad and having a National ad and having only a handful of watches available should make it very interesting
Should sell out as the magazine lands.

We'll see

Just keeping you guys in the loop

Chris - finally got some time today to check out my watch in detail. A beautiful time piece to be sure. Thanks for all the efforts.

My only complaint is that I can't figure out how to use the Deploy Clasp. Is there some way you could post a video on YouTube on how to operate the thing.

Thanks

It just pops apart, but it's going to be really stiff the first few times you use it. Be careful and it will work fine, you won't break it. Then the "buckle" part is mounted on a pivot pin. It will pop open and pivot, allowing you to set the strap. Chris probably has better pics, but that's the description.

And yes it's a beautiful watch. I love watching the movement through the display back, and I like the fact I can hear it ticking while I sit here working.

The clasp should just pull apart if you pull on it. They are a little stiff for a while. Don't be afraid to pull it, it wont break I will try to make a video, but I don't have a video camera anymore. I'll see if my wife's little camera has one.

James,
i don't think it will deliver on Sat unless they do things different in Texas.
You should see it Monday All USA deliveries should land on Monday. So, Monday should be a busy day for this thread

Yup, just checked the tracking number at UPS and scheduled delivery is 5/24/10!

Unfortunately for me, I'm going to be out of town all next week and won't be able to see it until the following Monday.

But I just want to thank Chris for making the extra effort to make sure we have these watches for SITM!

It's like belonging to a club within a club! How cool is that?
