Great post Nicholas! I was happy to help in this project!
Tons of inquiries from other car guys.
This project went from a drawing on paper to a watch Made in Germany that took forever to arrive
Oh so special! Have a great weekend
Thanks, glad you are pleased
LOL. Took me a few takes to see it
WooooHoooo! I got mine in yesterday evening. It was delivered to my other home an hour away (my fault as i used the credit card with that billing address)....but when I found out it was coming I made arrangements to drive all that way in the middle of the night (70 miles) so that I could have it to wear to my graduation today. It was ceremoniously opened in privacy (I wanted it that way) in my Porsche. I was impressed with the exposed movement in the back, the size, and the weight. Though the leather band keeps it from being too heavy...you definitely appreciate the feel of the watch.
The irony...despite my midnight run to pick it up....is that I couldn't bring myself to wear it today. Instead, I took it in it's case to show my friends/family as I had first seen it. The band is so nice that I can't seem to put it on for fear of making it less perfect.
To have the watch read "90/100" reaffirms how privileged I am to have been offered such a buy. Obviously, all of us here are die-hard 928 guys....a group of people who have come to appreciate something as unique in automotive history. I can't think of a better way than owning such a rare timepiece, reflecting our passion for this car, than this finely crafted article. In my opinion, it is a perfect execution of theme.
Thank you many times over Chris for organizing such a terrific design & offer. It was well worth the wait.
Kindest regards,
Nicholas Bryant

OK Guys.
Those of you who are waiting for your watch, I have some news.
And it's good news.
CONFIRMED! THE WATCHES ARE IN THE AIR!
EVERYONE WILL HAVE THEIR WATCH FOR SITM (If you are going).
The only thing that will hold em back would be customs.
but I will keep you all in the loop via email.
I posted this because it is Friday and I am at my other store where I don't have my email list, so I need to post it. (Nice time to get a Macbook to replace the iMac).
I didn't want you all to wait.
As always, I relay the information as I get it.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone

Chris,
Thanks again, have mine on today! It is the bomb!
When I told her how much I spent she looked at me with four eyes (brother-in-law has spent way more for not nearly as nice of a watch). It's great that my work 20 year anniversary gift card covered it. Kind of like the gold watch folks would get when they retired. Work just went to a catalog where you can order items from for you anniversary gift (stuff not that great either). Not anywhere as cool or nice as a 928 watch!
I like the white tip on the second’s hand. Tee shirt is a nice touch along with my car’s picture. Wife thinks I’m bonkers. Of course she’s not too impressed with watches or cars.
The clasp looks to be loosening up some and is easer to take off.
Nicholas,
Congratulations’ on you graduation! I hope all is well!
Cheers,

Safely arrived downunder
The watch arrived today safely through customs at my workplace in Sydney. Colleagues were impressed & expected that I paid a LOT more for it - which is a testament to the build quality.
Many thanks to Chris for pulling all of this together, all who contributed to the design and also to everyone who was committed enough to put their cash up for a product that they have never actually seen.
Apologies for the pixelated image - taken with a phone in less than ideal conditions - in the dark with light from the garage and in a hurry because dinner was getting cold!
