First impression is AWESOME! I prefer red hands, but would take orange to keep them glowing. Please don't remove any lume! Would love the red box around the ! to glow red or orange. I am deff still a buyer, but PLEASE don't remove any of the lume.

Great job from concept to execution.

My 928 is red - the fastest color ever produced, so you'd think I'd prefer the red version. And yet, I am really drawn to the orange. I don't know what it is. It's really retro and cool. Kinda like the Gulf orange color.

When I look at the orange watch face, I can see my tach. I feel like I'm in my car. When I see the red, I see an approximation of the dash, but not the essence of the 928 itself.

But I'm in the whatever goes camp. I do, however, think the ! should be illuminated in reverse.

I'm still in, no matter the final colors.

Any thing new?

Found this thread on page 3, that's criminal. My wife and I stopped by Brown & Co. this afternoon to get her ring checked and cleaned and I looked at a number of very nice watches - Panerai, Omega DeVille, Rolex Deep Sea, and an absolutely amazing white gold Daytona with a meteorite dial (think GTS price). All I could think of is wow I wish I was wearing my 928 watch! Any updates?

Waiting on more info on the red superlumi. There was a change in staff at the LACO office and we are hoping (and it seems like) the new person is going to be WAY more helpful!

I forget (and my apologies if it's in here somewhere); will there be some form of "Letter of Authenticity" to accompany the initial 1-100; as these are numbered pieces? I'm thinking that would be the "icing" for such a project as this. I'm not asking for gold-leaf or anything; just something officiating such a spectacular heirloom..............just a thought.

Despite my excitement, I want the watch to be perfect (no regrets).....so take your time....no pressure from me. I think I speak for us all when I say that we are grateful to you for coming up with this idea and allowing us fellow Rennlisters to participate/partake in the project.

Stephen,

Follow the email link that Wilbur put above and you will be golden. The available serial numbers are on VTC's (Chris's) post above, so pick one of those you like...

You can bet when I get my own, I will go back there. Hell I go there all the time as it is. I need a new toy!
