Tass, a quick email can probably secure your number...unless it's #88

I am getting a lot of Pm's and emails with requests, so i figured.....
Let's do this once and do it right
To everyone on board buying one of these, let's reserve your number now.

I'm in!
I haven't worn a watch for years (get rash) but I'm in on this if for nothing else as a great collectors item.

Just found out about this thread & read through the posts. Count me in for one - I'm a watch nut.
I've send the email offlist as well.

I received a couple of emails last night (just read them this morning) questioning where the watch is being made (in not so nice words).
Obviously it's a member(s) here since currently this is the only site that knows about this watch.
But I can publicly attest to the country of origin of this watch we are having made.
I know this thread is large and hard to read every page, but the watch is being made by:
www.LACO.de
Made in Germany since 1925
The perfect match to our 928 cars that were made in Germany
Just thought I would publicly respond to those emails since there is nothing to hide on my end

Mark and Martin,
Welcome to the group! Glad to have a few more folks from down under joining us! Great to meet a few of your brethren from down under at OCIC!
You will NOT be disappointed with this watch! I have the regular run of the mill Laco on which this one is based (actually the one I have is quartz, not even automatic) and it is AWESOEME! With all the custom bits on what we are making for you guys...OH MAN! This is one for the ages here boys!

To further clarify (hope I'm not overstepping Chris and James), it's a Laco made in Germany using a Swiss ETA movement. In other words, a very nice automatic with very well-known quality components and a custom dial. Can't wait!
