I would like to request either 85 (1st choice - model year) or 36 (last two digits of the VIN).

Also put me in for the sapphire crystal.

Can't wait. This will be a real collector's item!

Let me know (PM) if these is anything else you need from me to confirm this order.

Thanks,
Bob

If I may, I'm hoping for #90 (my year model).

Thanks for the creation of such a fine piece!

Let's not get out of KonTrol with the "I want this number" posts

If we decide on it, I will need an email with the request. I wont be able to keep up here if everyone posts it on this thread

Just a quick FYI for those on the "fence" about this watch.
This is the factory selling a STOCK Laco for $490 Euro, which translates to approximately $710
http://www.lacher-shop.de/e_shop/pro...=9&language=en

AND THAT'S A STOCK PIECE!

You will be getting the pilots strap (Laco orig) AND the Limited Edition strap I had made in Europe.
I will have the pics of my strap In 2 weeks when it lands in my hands.

Trust me on this, it's a real NO BRAINER!

Rennlist member are being offered this $595 price, the price will be a bit higher when I take it elsewhere and advertise it, if I need to
i think they will all sell FAST. Just a hunch

Hi Paul,
When that time comes, I will need a deposit with a CC or paypal. Either works for me.
I will post when the time comes to fork up some dough

Once I get my hands on the prototype and photograph the watch......
The pics below are just for reference, they are not of our new watch in any way. Totally different piece..
just showing my photography skills, if I have any
GAME OVER!!! SOLD OUT!!!

Chris... not to nitpick (or pick nits... always mix those up ), but the link shows the watch with a date window...

Eliminating this complication would reduce the price, if I am correct. Also, the strap it comes with is not the same strap as shown earlier in the thread -post #194 (not referencing the custom strap). And, it already comes with a sapphire crystal front & back (lens).

I know its really late in the game to start over... but is Laco really giving you what you think they are with the price break you have been quoted?

Just for the sake of comparison with other pilot models on the site:

Pilot A or B; 42mm; Miyota automatic (Japanese); mineral crystal.........198 euros (~$286)
Pilot 42 Quartz; 42mm; quartz movement (battery); sapphire crystal.....350 euros (~$507)
Pilot Chrono Quartz; 42mm; quartz; chronograph; sapphire crystal........450 euros (~$652)
Pilot 36 Quartz; 36mm; quartz; sapphire crystal; smaller (women's?)....300 euros (~$434)

I am still anticipating the prototype... as it will definitely be cool! Perhaps the second run will use my rendering (post #188)!

The strap that is coming with the watch from Laco is the Black pilots strap. They have it pictured with the Brown. ( picture attached of the black strap that is coming with the watch from Germany)
The custom strap is another $49

We decided on having the watch without the date so the dial looks cleaner with no obstructions. The dial is going to be gorgeous, we didn't want a calendar window in the way.

And the other limited we did with the Date Deleted sells for more than with the date. I know, I sell them, and sell them well.
http://www.valenciatimecenter.com/pr...roducts_id=545

One more thing, the stock model they show, ONLY the hands glow!
On my other limited edition "Date Delete" model, all the numbers glow. (pic is below)

On our watch, Everything glows it's color. Each color demands a separate pass on the dial machine. Each pass costs money.

I know its really late in the game to start over... but is Laco really giving you what you think they are with the price break you have been quoted?
Absolutely!!

Quartz models are irrelevant as is the Miyota.
But, their qtz model is over $500!!! Bone Stock!
The observation auto is $710 plus duties.

I am still trying to figure out the debate here

The custom dial and hands, AND caseback that they are producing for us are expensive! It's not made in China. It's all being made in Europe.

The price of this watch is too cheap.

Take a look at ANY other brand REALLY MADE in Switzerland or Germany.
By REALLY MADE I mean, every aspect of the watch is from there.

Nobody I know of can compete with this product at the "stock price."

Hope that helps

Oh, and everything that is "white" on our custom dial will glow like the pic above!
So, all the numbers (except the redline), Exclamation point, 928 Silhouette, will glow like that!^^^^^^^^^^^^
The exclamation point background and redline digits will glow red.

Imagine if this was a 911 watch......there would be a billion people wanting one
The 911 was made in the 60's thru today....That would be a lot of possible customer's.

I bet a 100 911 watches would sell in 9 minutes

Barry, this watch will use a Swiss ETA automatic movement rather than the Miyota which by itself raises the price substantially. The other features Chris detailed raise it further, so we are definitely getting a good deal here. Awesome in fact!

Hi Chris, Now that everyone wants a watch, I've supported this project from the beginning. I sure hope I'am still on the list to purchase one. I'll send the full price now plus shipping to Vegas. I don't have a real preferance on a number, I would juss like to have a watch. Thanks ,Joe
