Rob:
Bring anything you can't figure out by and I'll spend "37 seconds" telling you where it goes. I'm to the point where I can tell this stuff apart, in the dark.
Mike:
A "batch" of hardware is one charge, at the plating store. If you bring separate bags and want them kept separate, each one counts as a "batch". So, for an engine with everything separate, the plating charge would be about $4000.00....much cheaper to measure everything, make notes, and throw it all together. You hould have seen Rob's face, the first time I took all his individually cleaned, bagged, and marked hardware, removed it from each separate baggy, and threw it all in one box. Absolutely priceless!

Hmmm. One batch....gets me thinking...Is there a max weight?

That is a cap pistol, confiscated from my nephew. The University of California frowns on (real) firearms on their campuses.....

Today I spent time cleaning bolts and other parts I removed during my TB and top end refresh. I thought I could clean some up, and do some DIY plating. But boy, did I miscalculate the amount of bolts, nuts, washers and other parts. Even-though I have everything bagged and labeled separately, I am really tempted to throw everything together in one box and bring it to the platers. Otherwise it will take me forever to finish this...
