And you promised you'd take good care of it for me
Sorry to hear and see the bad news but I'm sure it will be good as new shortly.

I knew this would be a kick *** time, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Even with the issues us Texas guys ran in to, or had run in to us, it was a whole lot of fun. I met more people than I will ever put names to faces, to rennlist names, to cars than I could hope to ever remember. I know I will be making this trip in the future.
Thanks to Dave and Jeanie and all their helpers for this fantastic time. Wally, finally great to meet the genious behind the posts. Thank you guys a lot.
I'd post up some pictures but there is really nothing I took shots of that others have not already posted. Jim and I combined all of our pictures last night on each others computers, so if I find some stuff that others have not already posted, I'll add them to this thread.
Thanks again all, I had a blast. Now I need to work on getting Ang to make the trip with us next year. Her main requirement is all the cars need to be in working order first.

Ah geez Jim, seeing your gorgeous GTS like that makes me feel 10 times worse than us having to miss SITM this year. I know you'll have it lookin better than new in no time.

This was my first event. I flew up to Louisville, Kentucky and hitched a ride with the terrific hosts John & Shalene Ryall (thanks again). I chickened out of bringing my car all the way up from southern Mississippi, but now have no excuse if others trek even further than I. I will be back next year in my own car and counting every day 'til then. It was great placing faces with familiar Rennlist names. Enjoy a few pics I captured.....

Can't wait for the Transmission repair turned into Stroker Motor SC and DSG dual clutch transmission upgrade thread.
Danke, Dave and Jeannie and Bobby's wife (Marion? No she's not Pam) and Wally and the weather and the lack of aggressive LEO enforcement.
And the wonderful staff and hostess at Little Siena for putting up with us lousy louts again. Dinner was goooood. Nothing like a day at the Meadow and a nice drive down the BRP for dinner.

The most remarkable thing about this year was hearing Sterling's car. Total top fuel monster, making any loud 928 sound weak by comparison. That's some $hit for sure.
We missed out on the whole skyline drive and BRP this year due to rain and one of our guys' timing belt light freaking us out.
SITM always feels too short, guess I will have to stay through sunday in the future. The ride up the BRP early sunday with Glenn M and Jim D (pearl white '87) saved the weekend for me personally. I enjoyed every hour of the ride home and got home feeling "928 great". I love spending some time in the saddle.
