Default HELP, I think I'm becoming a "mantler"

A nephew of mine called me about a week ago and said he had saved up some money for his first car and could I help him find a 928. Last night I got in a 1981 with 69k miles. My customer had owned it for the last 20 years but when the timing belt lost some teeth he decided to call it quits. With any luck he will be driving it home next week.

Mark, so does that mean it's "928 Mantler International"?

Wow - that's exactly our "Blue Car", with almost the exact mileage!!

Love it!!

When's the TB party? Need a Kempf tool?

Somewhere in this 'mantling' concept is an alternate/additional way to keep the parts going out the door......

But its always cheaper to dismatler her then to mantler her, kinda the other way of "cheaper to keep her then divorce her".

If a 928 was my first car, I think I would be dead.

It is very nice. No cracks in the pod and only minor shrinkage in the leather dash.
