That's It !! ' Shark Town USA' premiering on the Speed Channel Thurs nights at 9. Watch as the gritty remantling crew at Anaheim resurrect the 'hopeless and doomed' sharks late into the night while the city sleeps and the rest of the shark watchers hold their breath. Cut to little girl---"Why are you so nervous, Sally?" reply--" Daddy's 928 went to the remantler's and we are waiting to find out if he will get it for his Birthday !"

Well he just left in his 928 after hanging out here most of the day taking care of a few last details.
Don't ask me how I'm 2 for 2 on having OB a/c that works.

Does his plate 'LONG610' mean something?

Congrats.
Hope you pulled the plug wires from 1 bank of the cylinder and their corresponding injectors.
2.25 inline 4 with 4 pot air pump. That should keep him out of trouble.
Nice looking car, BTW.

LOL, if the 928 wasn't such a predictable car with good road manners I would whole heartedly agree with this!

The 4.5 with the 3sp auto is not exactly a speed demon. My 0-60 timed runs were over 10 seconds.

Did you tighten up the throttle cable?

What a cool deal... good work!

If you don't mind my asking, how does it happen that a customer of one of the most highly renowned 928 shops/stores/experts suffers any sort of timing belt maintenance failure with their 928?

We don't do service work here. I'm not sure the history on the car but the tensioner arm was worn badly at the pivot point so the belt probably lost a bit of tension and sheared lots of teeth. The cam gears had severe wear as well but that may be as a result of the lack of belt tension. Hard to say as I am no mechanic or expert.
