Are sewer lid wheels that bad?

That's funny you mention that, I once saw those wheels on the A8 and thought the same thing. A larger version of the flat dish wheel. Sort of like Chip Foose and others do with muscle cars, , making a larger diameter modern interpretation of the original wheels...

I've got a set for my '87 S4 and I'll be taking off the ET65 Cup II's and putting the 16" back on it once I get around to buying new tyres for the 16" dishes.
Its for my DD, so I like that the 16" are harder to curb, ride slightly softer and are less theft-worthy. Plus they look good.. they suit the car

The set I have were on the way to the smelter, so I rescued them figuring I could make a buck or two. Maybe go toward an upgrade for my camera.
Would they be easier to sell as single replacements, rather than a matched set? Thanks

so why'd you pick a thread where they are being criticized to sell them? If you want to move them, start a new thread. Also put them in the classified section, since many 944 drivers like them.

I picked up some wheel polish for them, going to shine them up nice and place a classified, as you suggest.
Thanks for inquiring.

As I stumbled upon two 928s with some decent parts, I'm looking to learn from this discussion board as it seems the best source for knowledgeable people.
I'm not a business, just a guy trying to raise a few bucks to replace a broken camera so I can get back to filming and photographing races.
Having my little garage sale is helping me keep this going: youtube.com/handyracing
Thanks
