Default Timing-belt party in Argyle (DFW)

We had a timing belt and water-pump party at my house yesterday. The main word here is party. We had the S4 done flawlessly. The other two had normal issues. Broken bolts and such. We had to drill and tap one and the other we were able to PB Blaster it, and work it out.
Sean help with the S4 mostly and was done hours before the others. Guess that why Mike drove his home and the other two are still in the shop.
Thanks to everyone that came and had a good time.

Nice shot of my gasket! That shot will haunt me for a while..... Outside of that gasket mine went fairly well I think. Next time will be much easier not that I have done it. Would much rather do mm/pg any day!

Brad and your better 3/4, thanks for hosting, feeding us, having the drinks chilled, etc. Sean kudos to you appreciate your help always.

Total group effort on mine and I will miss a few, sorry for that. John thanks for the help in tearing it down and for correcting my 16mm comments, Mike nice job on the seal, Leidel for his help in scraping the gasket from hell and his moral support while I scraped, Roger for not scolding me for my WP mishap, Danny for the clip hint, Mike for his help in the push to get alt. and ps back in... man the list goes on.

Anyone I missed, thanks a million could not have done it without you guys.

Im currently trying to find a couple belts for us. NAPA opens at 9, will be sitting at their door at 9. Im on my way as soon as I find those.

Brad,
Get as many 21" belts as you can - 6 or 8 will be fine.
They probably will only have a couple though.

Brad & Joanne,
AWesome GTG and tons of fun.
Young David with his 82 did the work 95% himself and completed his first of many 928 TB jobs.
Just need the 21" belt and fix the slave and we will be rock & rolling.
Well done everyone.

Not that clean this morning but i am working on it. Right now I am claiming Possession is 9/10 the law. A lot of tools left here. I have a new set of Black-hawk wrenches, thanks Sean.

Yes Brad, you do, they just have not been delivered yet. Bought them this morning for you. Or you can keep the ones that are over there. Also picked up that 13 piece set of ratcheting stubbies.

Got everything done plus some extra stuff today. All three cars are on the road and going very well. Then we put mine up on the rack and did the MM/PG and some steering rack bushings.....then it was Rogers turn for a neutral safety switch. Jim M joined in the fun today.

Damn productive weekend and now all that is left is to go back and scrub some floors at Brads. Jim took a lot of pictures today so I hope he will post them up and share.

Thanks everyone for a great time and especially a huge thanks to Brad and Joanne for hosting. Best hosts one could have. Brad L brought some great food for lunch today.

Thanks again everyone.
