Nord, that is totally totally cool!

I hate harleys. But that rules. And this is coming from someone who has a Norton Commando.

Please elaborate on what you do with it. It looks like it's not going in dirt. So I imagine snow.

Awesome.

I'm going to start riding again. Nothing in the car world comes close to a tweaked 500 two stroke, and i have been away long enough.....

I rode for the first time in 2 years and it was much needed! I need to lose about 40 lbs of "car guy" fat and get back in shape.

Cr500 engine in a later 250 chassis. Handles much better, better ergonomics, and easier to go fast on. Lots of motor work: lightened crank, lots more compression, V force, PSI billet carb, pipe, etc. Not for the novice of course...

I sold my dirt bikes several years ago. No more hospital stays for me. And since my other motorcycles are not with me, I feel justified to post the cycle I love and ride the most. And one that costs more than most dirt bikes, believe it or not.

I should never have sold my baby I miss it too much. '82 GS1100e with rare bodywork, '84 1150 "black motor" bored to 1229, BIG cams (idled like a prostock car lol), ported head, 38mm flatslides, crank work, backcut tranny, HD clutch, straight cut crank and clutch gear, sprocketed, DOT legal road race tires, braided lines, custom paint (had to after I wrecked at the track lol), Infinity J30 projector lights, lowered, stretched, etc. Ran high 9's in the quarter with your nuts on the tank and your chin on the windscreen. I never had the seat redone to match the paint though, hmm.

now that I changed my browser to Google Chrome, I can attach pics.

I have had several Hondas over the years, starting with a 90 at age 15. got this CB1100F several years ago. did a full frame up refresh, but did not have to open the motor. I do not ride much any more. reached the age where I am painfully aware of my mortality. at speed, tend to feel more conforable in my 911 DE car, full cage, seats, harnesses, HANS....

but on occasion, a nice, long ride in the country on the bike sure is fun. when I do, armored jacket, armored gloves, jeans with kevlar woven in, and of course helmet.
