I understood it to mean it would close the outlet (to vac) when the Provent is ~7mbar < atm.
On the other side of it as it pressurizes approaching WOT not clear what happens... if its already open at that point how can it regulate pressure to be lower unless it acts as a local blow-off valve (but I don't see how that would ever be emission legal).
Not sure what you mean about Intake + Crank pressure - it can only regulate the Provent Vs Atm right?

It does both. The from the inlet air flows down through the filter, but also goes up towards the cap of the Provent where it escapes through the valve.

Well I've been in contact with DR for a custom provent system - hopefully it will be shipping soon.
Meanwhile my cam covers have been powder coated and all 4 breather ports are populated and oriented to be freah air intakes. Since John Kuhn's under filler scrubber build has been delayed I've been experimenting on an S4 oil filler to implement a pre-scrubber - it seems very workable so now part way though an intake refinish/refurb I've modified my GTS filler in the same way.
My alternative approach is to implement the 928 Intl oil control deflector plate (with some mods) combined with the stock louvered breather cover in reversed orientation with the oil filler packed with pure copper scrubbies. I'll call it the "Oil Filler Scrubber Stack".
This should work well on the GTS filler because there are no vacuum ports down at the filler base - all are relocated to the top near the cap - unlike the Pre GTS models. However if you capped the lower vac ports for a provent install - you could use this method on any with this style filler neck. I did add a little extra porting into the bottom filler cover plate for better flow and opened up the 928 Intl baffle plate for this with some folded deflector wings.
Inside the filler base I've also opened up the side chambers (power filed them out) for better overall flow and have fitted 5 copper scrubbies - 3 up the 6" vertical 'spout' + about 1.5" of angled & horizontal space and then 2 across the whole base. Airflow restriction is not substantial
Up top I've ported for the Provent down into the top of the filler neck just behind the cap. Here the extra GTS vac ports really do get in the way - an S4 would be easy. I will initually reconnect everthing as stock so need to leave these vents. I did seriously contemplate just drilling them out and patching the holes - since it would have made this install much easier...
With the top filler porting there should be absolutely no issues with oil filling - an important consideration for me. A few pictures below

Will that fitting clear the cross brace? It looks close from the pics. I am glad to see that because it helps with the hose I am trying to find.
BTW, your system should be leaving today, I am having a delay finding the right hose for your custom setup (the one from the Provent directly to the filler neck shown above). Made a trip to the back room at Advance yesterday looking for one, no luck. Trying Car Quest and Napa today on my next trip out.

DR yes its close but should work based on trials before filler removal (of course It has to go back in yet!).
I do have a flatter elbow fitting but it necks down at the turn so I don't like it as much... Given the scrubbies swapping it in situ would be possible - I certainly won't be losing anything down into the filler neck...

Have completed the Sharkvent install on my 90GT whilst doing an Intake R&R, which presented a few options for some of the no longer required breather hoses.
First up, new oil filler neck with the hole drilled. As the bottom of the neck isn't flat, I drilled a small pilot hole, the used a hole saw to cut the larger hole. Tidied up with a small file to de-burr the edges after cutting:

Here's the rubber caps fitted to the base of the oil filler neck
I decided to use a rigid plastic bung as found the supplied expanding rubber one ever so slowly worked it's way out a couple of mm's. The bung is slightly larger than the opening in the rubber intake elbow and fits very snuggly. In combination with the hoseclip it's extremely secure

Here's the 3 way hose from the throttle body. I've cut down the section to the oil filler neck and closed it off with a flexible rubber cap, secured with a hose clamp. I'm looking for a rigid plastic bung as used on the throttle body elbow as it will look tidier.

The hose fitted, looks OK, but not quite as 'clean' as I would like. In hindsight I should've used a single piece of hose rather than cutting down the 3 way hose.....

And finally the finished install. Have removed the air pump filter housing (no longer required as air pump has been removed)
All in all the Sharkvent is really well thought out, particularly the packaging and integration. The only and minor issue I had was with the rubber expanding bung, however this doesn't appear to have been a problem for others.

Still works the same, but just so it is clear, the above mods (and rubber nipple parts) are not a part of our kit. We use and supply an internal block off inside the oil filler neck for this 3-way hose and it stays installed as it was originally for a factory look.
