I am installing a keyless entry and I wander does the 928 use a negative or positive trigger to lock/unlock.

Just found this on a site that sells all sorts of remote entry systems. Wiring charts for 928's of various years. Hope it's accurate.

Its a four wire system. Power, ground, and a yellow and green wire. One runs it one direction (the motor), and one ones it the other direction. Once one runs, it will not run again until the power is put the other wire. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the info, but I still don't understand if I need to configure it as a postive or negative trigger. See picture below, this is a Shemsi keyless entry

The above answers miss the point...

It all depends on the year of your 928...

Then its a 2 wire (lock/arm & unlock/disarm) negative trigger and an easy install. The alarm module is under the passenger seat and all needed connections are right there.

No need to install any dome light circuits or ignition connections - the GTS does all these for you

I installed the keyless entry, using the information I found and I used Alan's diagram for the GTS. I have something weird. I can unlock, lock the passenger door with the remote and that works fine, dome lights go on etc., however it does not unlock / lock the driver door

If I use the key in either the driver of passenger door, it locks / unlocks boths sides as it should.

I used brown/red for arm/lock and brown/green for disarm/unlock, which should be correct based on the wiring diagram and data from the commando website

Any idea what I do wrong

Hans,
Check to see the documentation on the unit and see if you can configure it for longer lock/unlock pulses - this is about the only thing that would make sense.

Red shark - I had posted years ago how to configure an '88 - '90 is the same.

Hi Alan,

Sorry but stupid me I made the wrong observation, if I unlock the passenger door with the key the driver does not open, however when I unlock the driver door with a key the passenger door unlocks. Any thoughts on what this could.
