Z4M Coupe - Closest to Modern 928
Long snout, swept back cabin, german engineering etc. Course its missing the super tall gearing and big v8.
I'm considering a 928 again. Been through 951, 944s2, 993, 968, Z3 M Coupe, NSX, Lotus and now Z4 M Coupe. Its like I've been dancing around the 928 which I've always loved.
here are some pics of my M Coupe:

You have a new M3..... I thought I was the only one???
M coupes are cool...a BMW club guy has one that he tracks on a regular basis.... Once they drop the new M3 V8 into the M coupe....that will really be something....414hp 8400rpm V8 is really nice!!!

Too funny, I was just thinking about this topic when "The Girl Next Door" came on the TV:

The one thing about 928's is they are SO undervalued.......for the price of a mid level honda civic you can get a really nice 928.....like mine (blatant attempt at selling 928 to please the wife)

I hate the look - it reminds me of Joe Camel!
I think the better modern comparison to the 928 is the Aston Martin DBS:

I suppose similar as in its the only remotely similar german car under 100k. Of course its even closer to 456 but thats a $22k Italian V12. Figured a $60k german 6 with a long snout was a bit closer. Neither are as close a match. Suppose in reality the closest is likely 650i which I forgot about!
