Risky Business 2004
Ok, not really 928 related, but the #1 fan club of the original Risky Business is this group.
Anyway - Have any of you seen the movie "Girl Next Door"? I just watched it on cable - fun movie, with a very similar theme as Risky Business.
Then in the end the star of the movie drives away in a BMW Z4 - dubed the Land Shark by BMW.
I found it interesting - think some car buff slipped this in knowing the 928's knickname and it's role in the original movie?
Yea, it's a slow, cold night up here - need another one of these

That's funny, it remainded me too of the same thing. A newer version of Risky Business. I could swear even the theme song was a variation of the original.

Yea I said the same thing to my wife.. This is Risky Biz.. and yes even the music was very similar to Tangerine Dream.
Though it was a good movie as well.. now if it just had a shark in it . . .

Scarface 928
Was flickin' through channels the other night and came across 'Scarface' and the scene where Al Pacino is looking at buying a 928..........silver in colour and is a early '80's car I think.

That's it Hacker. I'm no vette historian, but the Mako Shark (v.1) was created in 1961, Mako II was created later and either inspired, or was inspired by, the Stingray design of '68. But enough bowtie talk, Shark = 928 in my book.

Malcolm,
"Iss like, won of dem tigersh... fran India."
There's another cool shot when he leaves the club - the lights pop up, and drives away. (I need to sample that one.)
