+1 on Tony's TempII suggestion. My car would not start with a bad TempII when it was cold. When I removed the fuel pump fuse and cranked for 10 seconds or so, the car would start and actually run for like 10 seconds with no fuel pump. That's how flooded it was.

Interesting about the temp II sensor. I cleaned the engine on the GTS a year or two back and shorted out the sensor. Car wouldn't start. Got a new sensor and it fired back up. I thought about this the other day, but forgot to check it. I guess since it's only a year or so old, it slipped my mind. I think you can just connect the two leads together to by pass the sensor and see if it fires up.

With a title like..." GTS died " you get a LOT of LOOKS !! sharks smell blood in the water from a great distance Had it been " GTS won't start " .... far fewer hits.

Yes but all the PMs / e-mails from people wanting to buy wheels , body parts and engine can be distracting..... Some thought , OH NO he crashed the GTS ! others were thinking , OH BOY he crashed the GTS . So the fuel pump was bad and NOW something else ? You should probably just part it out !

We worked on a 91S4 here in the Detroit area that would sometimes start, but generally would not run. After a long and very painful search we found the kickdown relay (of all things) was the culprit. It would cut off the injectors (upon cranking) and would not start.
