Yes....but the widow doesn't have side windows, a complete rear window or even wipers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if its a little wet I can deal with it....but thats about it..... I could always drive the M3 and practice my drifting?

After watching Kibort destroy the competition in the rain at Laguna on his slicks, I'm looking forward to some "wet" practice.

Brian,

How strict was the NCRC on the technical inspections? Did they look at the cars or just take the tech sheet?

I am worried about disconnected wiring harness sections. They are taped up and zip tied down. I don't know if that is good enough. They seem to stress on their site "no project cars!" I don't want to fall in that catagory.

I am in the point by group for Friday.

Tony, I think by project cars they're referring to junkers with parts falling off and liquids dispensing. You'll be fine with your wiring status.

Charley: Everybody dispenses liquids on the track once in a while.

80% rain and temps. in the 40's. Might be more fun to bring the quads and play on the hills.

For anyone not under a cover it's going to be one long, wet, miserable day.

Let me think about this.

For the last few days the forecasting has been very inaccurate around here, and it's been bluse skies alternating with infrequent sprinkles. If it's really socked in Friday morning I may stay home, under the lift. My intercooler plumbing revision needs further revision.

Okay I just got a phone call from the race shop that I PAY to deliver the car to the track....so the more they deliver it...the more money they make.....

The shop owners words to me "I've been watching the weather all day, its going to miserable up there, were talking serious rain all day.....you don't have windows or wipers in a powerful car with wide tires...I suggest NOT going, but we will be there if you want, just say the word!"

I am leaning towards NOT going...I will look at the forecast tomorrow and make the final decision...

I won't be going due to the weather. Heavy rain is no fun on the track for me. I have had a number of rainy track days up here and something always happens to someones car. So far I've been lucky (or too chicken to drive fast enough).

I am not sure if I can do this, but I will give my registration to anyone who wants it. It is for the Point-By run group. Does anyone know if NCRC will let me transfer the track pass?

We're dropping like flies. I'm out too, due to work. They waited until today to schedule a meeting on Friday.

Tony - NCRC has let me take someone else's spot in the past. They also usually have a standby list.

If anyone wants to run in Advanced (open passing), let me know.
