McMaster Carr has spacers, look on line at their site, the one I attached is
just a sample of what could for you.
Also, you should first confirm that a 322 mm disc can be made to fit the
radius of a S4 caliper. Make a cardboard disc that is 322mm in dia, then
try to put it inside the caliper to see if it clears the edges. If it won't, it will
at least show you where to remove the material (alum) from the inside ends
of the caliper. Keep grinding and check fitting with the template until the
cardboard Disc/rotor fits inside the caliper. Then go a tiny bit more so you'll
have room to fine tune the spacing of the caliper, you'll want to check it with
the pads in the caliper then shim the caliper out so the edges of the pad material are flush with the outside radius of the rotor.
And, for what it's worth, Devek used spacers and washers to do what your
doing. They never had a problem and neither have I using the round spacer
vs the long single strap method that was mentioned in this post earlier.

I dont know why MrMerlin is suggesting that they be replaced as if they arent leaking then they are fine, IMHO. However you may consider replacing the seals IRREGARDLESS as to if they are leaking or not and pull out the pistons to inspect them for any damage/fatige. If they are fine then there is NO need to replace them.
The calipers have not seen anywhere CLOSE to 1200 degrees as well. At that temp the fluid boils well before that point (even full race fluid), and then it doesnt work any further. Plus on top of that all the seals would have completely melted as would the pistons and calipers as most aluminum melts abit before that point.
The only other thing is that it is NOT a good idea to use those washers you have made, they would deform, by that I mean crush around the bevel, leaving the bolt loose which will then work its way out and lets just say that could lead to a VERY messy situation!

Ill do this. I already math'ed it out and think ill need about 2-3mm of grinding at the edge, and much less as you go inward. it looks about as much as you took off on the CnC pics of the calipers.
Ill do the mock up though. good idea.
those spacers look pretty big. Its says 3/8"s on the spec, but they look bigger. the ID says .505", i think the bolt thickness is more like .47". I think we want to have more of a close fit there, almost interference to fight some of the issues with shear brought up here in this discussion.

The only pic I have is the two of them on the cnc, but you get the
idea.. Before you start cutting, do the mock up first, it would suck
to do all that work and not have them fit.
There are more spacers to pick from in the McMaster catalog, you
could find another better to your liking.

that spacer shown in the picture is not the spacer you found for me from McMaster, rigth? it looks a lot longer than it is wide. the spacer you found was 1" diameter and had a .505" inner diameter which is almost perfect for what im doing, but im a little worried about the spacer not being an interference type of a fit, or at least tight.
I looked everywhere for spacers, washers and came up empty last night. Thanks for the information!!
I might just have a set or two made by a friend with all the CnC stuff with the ID being a little closer to the bolts.
Now, new bolts just buy from 928intl for the GTS calipers??

idea.. Before you start cutting, do the mock up first, it would suck
to do all that work and not have them fit.
There are more spacers to pick from in the McMaster catalog, you
could find another better to your liking.

Yes, 350mm The way I came up with the 350 was by using cardboard
disc templates of different diameters, 13", 13.25", 13.50", 13.75" etc,
I kept cutting away the caliper to a safe depth and checked the rotor dia
with the templates as I went. I had cut as far as I thought safe, measured
with the 13.75" template and called it a day.. FWIW, the link below is the
car it was done on.
