Wow, that is one nice cabriolet!

Makes me want to take a trip Down Under to properly assess it.

Yep. I have two of them.

No real issue with registration or licensing either - first one took six minutes at the licensing inspection center from "This your car?" to "OK, go pay the lady at the front desk".

That is the best execution of a shark cab that I have ever seen. Normally I am not a fan, but I really like this one!

That is beautiful, especially those flared front & rear fenders and the way the rear flares are tied into the doors - just gorgeous Mika !

It's the widebody that makes it though - without the character added by the widebody, not having the lift at the rear doors makes most 928 cabs too flat, with a straight line from the front of the door all the way to the back of the car. This car has that straight line, but because of the flares at the rear doesn't look so plain with it. Without the flares, I think that lift at the rear doors and higher rear deck actually gives a 928 cab a wedge stance which is much nicer, and I wouldn't have bought mine had it not had that coachwork character line.

See the difference - flat topped all the way back

vs. raised rear deck that starts at the back of the door. Having the top store on top actually helps to break up that flat rear deck too, though I agree the way Mika's tucks in underneath is cleaner. Losing the rear seats, like that in a Carelli, is not an option and just makes that flat rear deck even larger.

My top actually seals up pretty well with a few updates I've done to it and has been road tested in excess of 100 MPH with windows up or down.

I still wanted more rear deck character so added a spoiler that follows the shape of the rear of the trunk and fenders too.

Interior has been updated to match the more modern look of the exterior

With mine, it's a shame if you don't like the rear view...

...because with this setup under the hood, that's the view most people see (at least for a few seconds).

There is another Jurinek based on a 1985 928 S(2) for sale in Switzerland. I have the coordinates of the owner, if needed. It seems to be the first made, and it still has a Porsche VIN.
No wide body kit, just an S4 kit.

And there maybe another one for sale, based on a 1989 S4, for sale. This one is Baltic blue, located in Germany.

Note the nice Strosek wide body kit, with OZ rims.

Would-it be possible to know the VIN of this Australian beauty? It seems to have a Jurinek specific plate.

Love the Australian cabrio. German one looks interesting too.
I used a body kit from AIR to widen the rear stance of mine.

Re the VIN number. There are 2, the original Porsche and Jurinek. It's not my vehicle to divulge any specifics, but the 2 x VINs raised some eyebrows when it arrived in Aust, apparently

Nice. Who has made the conversion?
