Looks to me that its in Western Australia (Plate PCWA - Porcshe Club WA?), and they allow left hookers to register and drive there AFAIK. I have heard of several imports from Asia going there because of this.

Very nice! I hope my convertible will look as good when I am done with it...someday.
The difference (which obviously works) is the rear of the door was chopped as low as possible without emphasizing the "turn up" where the door wrapped around the window. They continued the molding line straight back to the deck. Additionally, the rear deck does not roll off as it is squared and brought further out to match the line coming off of the door. Nothing has been altered other than using these lines properly.

The steering wheel says "Jurinek" - a German company that did at least a hand full of very high quality conversions. I spoke to the owner of one at the 30-year anniversary gathering in Stuttgart, and he told me the Jurinek is a lot stiffer than the Carellis. I'll see, if I can post a picture of his car when I'm home...
(he also owns the yellow 6-wheeler from Las Vegas, and the 928 body on the truck chassis, both of which are not street legal in Germany)

1 of only 16 built original Jurinek 928 Cabrios - Perth/WA
Hi everybody
Only just found this wonderful thread about my gorgeous Jurinek 928 Strosek (Version III) Cabrio - thanks a lot for all your compliments and interest...sooo many years ago...!!! :-))
Its a 1985 model, V8-4.7L, converted by German Engineer Heribert Jurinek to his Japanese customer's high end specifications in 1989 with 29,000kms, shipped from Hamburg to Osaka on 22 Dec 1989.
It was only used as a show car ever since...drives like a dream! :-))
I received the car in Perth/WA in January 2007 - it won the Porsche Club WA annual concourse the only 2 times it competed, in 2007 & 2008.
Happy to give you any more infos you might like to know.
Btw, this extremely rare and unique car happens to be for sale now - with original genuine 36,669 kms only...kept garaged, spotless, dry & polished !
Can't wait to hear from you...
Cheers - Michael (Western Australia)

I've always said:" One 928 at a time is enough!" This one changes my opinion, I like it a lot!!! Would like to see it with the top up.
