Default 84 5spd Transmission FS ( as well as lightly used boge shocks, front)

I have an 84 2.26 box, rebuilt 2 years ago, only about 15,000 on the rebuild. Technically still being broken in. All shifts are clean especially the low gears, which all had replaced synchros and I think selector rings. NON LSD, but this is an early box so the early LSDs are a bit easier to find and buy.

1000obo.

I am in San Diego. Its in the car still depending on time frame and how I do over thanksgiving time, you may be able to drive the car with it in, or I can take it out and deliver it within say, 2 hours of San Diego for free. That basically means LA, Riverside, etc.

TT is not included - I need that.

Reason for Sale - I am praying an S4 or later box will drop in my lap within the next year. I am moving the rebuilt 78 box from my 78 project to the 82 to drive in peace and happiness. And a shorter final drive, which the 4.5L dearly needs.

****ALSO****

***BOGE shocks, front, lightly used, 100 for the pair.****

Oooo, you have piqued my attention. Would be nice to just drop a newly rebuilt unit in Chewy. Could save some of the fuss. Landseer and I were talking about both rebuilding over the winter.

Do you have any ides what it would take to ship it to 23225?

Thanks!

Got you PM Jim. Shipping to the SE shouldn't be TOO bad. I think the transmissions are like 175 pounds right? Maybe a couple hundred tops?

This Transmission is still for sale. Its price is negotiable, but it is indeed rebuilt and working very well. It is now out of the car as of this weekend, so ready to ship.

I think you will need a new torque tube for the later gear boxes. I did the 85 conversion on my 84 and that is what i needed. I think i did a buy with 928intl and gave them my 84 TT /trans. core as a swap.
