Yes Sir, that is my car. That isn't my YouTube account. Porschalover1 would be an associate of the previous owner. The po spent about $45k in parts upgrading things. When I bought it the interior was rough and had a suspension problem.
Since than few changes.
Got a $6k paint job(with good friend discount). Not super happy wit it just yet. It'll go back to get some correction this spring.
The engine is really strong and pulls like freight train while sounding like a mad mobile
Gt3 hardback sport seats installed.
3 spoke 996 steering wheel.
Geeting brand new carpet this week.
Door panels, pod, and the dash going to classic 9 to be reupholstered this week.
When I bought the car it came with different wheels. Beautiful 19's really but it rubbed and didn't fit good.
Looking for new wheels. Haven't decided on the exact wheels yet but looking for 5 spoke light weight 996 wheels currently.
Got brand new Michelin ps2 this week.
Will get new windshield.
Getting a pioneer nav for Christmas.
Will paint the calipers yellow.
Will get a SC this spring.
My intention is to make this car one of the nicest out there.
Once I feel right about it I'll post some detailed pics here.
Ohh and thank you for the compliment.

Madturk,
Wow, supercool. Try to get it done by this year's Sharks In the Mountains in the Southeast as I'd love to see it in person. Based on that video I had looked at the TechArt wheels as I thought they looked great, but the offsets weren't a good match for the 928 (better for the 911s) so I found a similar looking wheel with much better offset (57 front & 65 rear) from a German company called CMS, but they don't have a US distributor, so getting those was a story in itself, but I am very pleased with how they look on the car so worth the effort.

Thank you
Those wheels look great.
Another option I thought was ok is sport edition cup wheels. I've seen it on 928's before and they look ok. The problem is I want something that looks great. The 996 5 spoke my02 wheels look ok too. I will most likely get those because they look great on the 964. Once I find great wheels for the 928 I could use the my02 on my 964.
Not a lot of good options for the 928 out there as you know.

It is NOT neccesary to get up into the gas tank filler flap area unless you want to when you french these in.
Its all about how high you mount them to the car. Mounted as designed, you will be able to french in the flare to the fender and not involve the filler flap at all. Mount them up too high, and you will need to just build the filler door up a little bit to contour it in.
I have seen both ways. This customer's body shop did a beautiful job.
