to be honest ... me like the sound !

PS didn't wanted the OEM injection stuff because it seems to me to complicated to change anything about it ... also that long way the air has to travel...
and race injection with 8 throttle bodys is expensive .. i think ? So i opted for the oldschool IDA48's ... if i push the pedal , you can see the inlet valves..

Hello from Germany,

that´s an cool 928. :-)

my racing 928 friends tell me that your setup is way to loud for the track. Here they have problems with a 928 S2 stock exhaust without first muffler.

Your open intake make noise like a dragster.I hope for you that your work isn´t useless.

Greetings

Karsten

Very nice set up!!Webers have a long racing history and sound beautiful.Very temperamental and time consuming to set up and get adjusted, but once you find the sweet spot they are AWESOME!!!

Fantastic project. Friend of mine lives beside the track, I'll tell him to be prepared for some unusual music.

it are CCW wheels ,front 17 x 11 " and rears 17 x 13"
tires are Kumho V70A front 315/35 and rears 335/35

now the front tires are nice sitting on those 11"
for the rears i could go wider as the 335 is "narrow" on the 13" wheel...

i must still check how much i can turn... and place some stops..
to "fit" the 928M wide body kit i have 15 mm spacers front, 20 mm rear.

Don't know the offset, CCW had them from Carls car. ( same setup but with Hoosier tires )

Just the fronts need really spacers as without ,the wheel spokes were just not touching the brakecalipers... ( the big GT ones ) ,so with some distorsion under load it coud rub...
