Nice Mike, looking forward to seeing more pics of the trip and the new acquisition.

Wait until you clean up Marine Blue, the paint is stunning in different light.

Congratulations, Mike and Gina! Now you had plenty of time to bond with your new baby...

We got out of there just in time thanks to you. Without the help I received from you and Bill, I might still be there. On second thought, the car might still be there. If I was stuck in that beautiful, desolate town any longer, they'd probably be pulling my carcass out of the bottom of Mono Lake. I'm no city boy by any means but I don't see how people can live that far away from civilization.

Thank you, seriously.

I hear you ...You were a long way from Disneyland and far from what most people expect when they think about California Once you get about 90 miles away from the ocean ....

I stayed over night there on a similar trip. It didn't seem that remote to me, but I saw some people that reminded me of "Deliverance" and I did think, if I was departing that for the desert, what must it be like east of there; I don't want to break down between here and Albuquerque. I stopped in Area 51 at the Little Ale In (Alien) and they were definitely from another planet. Small bar and the two or three patrons were sitting each by themselves. People like to drink alone out there.
