Default New Product: Folding 928 Tow Hook

I was surprised to find that none of the folding aluminum tow hooks for other Porsche models fit the 928... the thread is often to course, and when the thread is right... the shank is too short to reach our threaded hole.

So I made my own.

Our tow hook is CNC milled from billet and anodized red to meet racing requirements and provide long-lasting good looks. The post that threads into your Porsche is made from steel and has a hard-oxide black coating on it for rust prevention. The hook pivots on a stainless steel pin, and a drag screw is designed in so that you can prevent the hoop from flopping up or down. This is a high-quality product that you will be proud to add to your 928.

These are not in our catalogs or website yet - but they have just arrived in time for SHARKTOBERFEST and I will have them at our table. Come and check them out!

Two Types Available: Porsche used a 15mm fine thread on tow hooks from 1978-86 ROW and Euro spec cars, and a 20mm course thread on some US models 1978-86 also. All Porsche 928s used the 20mm tow hook from 1987 through 1995 all.

If you have a 1987-95 928, just specify the year and we will send you the 20mm tow hook shank for your car.
If you have a 1978-86 928, check your tow hook in your tool kit and tell us whether your 928 needs the 15mm fine thread shank or the 20mm course thread shank.

For the moment, they are available here:

That is a very trick looking piece. That's as sexy as a tow hook can get.

The best tie down hooks in the rear are these (and they allow you to adjust your rear sway bar too):

Alternatively if you want to just tow from the rear - just use the same hook in the rear towhook spot (above the license plate). Carl - I assume it fits there fine - look like it would...
