Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone know that there is a 1987 S4 Auto for sale here in Omaha. It is a new 928 to the market, as it just appeared late last week.

It appears to be a fairly nice car. I do not have any experience with the dealership but I will be heading out to examine the car this Thursday evening. If anyone is interested or would like me to do any snooping for them, just let me know!

I've been out there a few times, their stuff is usually in the "nice" to "very nice" range. They offered to buy mine on at least one occasion.

This is a dealer offering with all the services done. That's worth a few extra $. I think it's a very fair price.

wake up, put more value on YOUR cars! you know what, the day that we all decide we arent taking anything less than top dollar for these rare cars is that day that we all start getting it for them when we do sell. There are so few of us that it could happen..........

I don't want to devalue a 928, trust me...
here's how I see it
1. 60k service done : at 22 yrs this car should be on it's 3 tb at least, what belts did he change? waterpump? no mention of service records... to me this says I better plan on doing lots of deferred maintenance
2. leather interior: seats maybe, that's it
3. all the luxury items he mentions are standard equipment
4. color... personally I love it, but grey-green is not for everyone, and the pics are lacking good definition... no mention of dash/pod cracks so it's an unknown and near impossible to find good replacements in that color
personally I'd buy cold_beers car for the same price and get a known commodity
