Also, since the beetle is the 911's ancestor, I'm not quite sure what you mean.

This is my last post on the subject, since all my posts lately have been "argumentative" if you will, i'm tired of getting myself into these situations. It was originally asked who designed the beetle, NOT the 911. Certain designs were "copied", not the entire car. Which says to me the design was still just influenced, it wasn't designed by Tatra. Otherwise, the Tatra T97 would look a hell of a lot more like the Beetle, which is what was asked in the first place. It was still Porsche's lead designer, Erwin Komenda, who designed the beetle we know today, "copied" or not.

FYI, The reason i'm done is because we're talking about a Beetle on a 928 specific forum. It's just retarded to keep it up, so i'm done. Back to your regularly scheduled programming. In which REAL Porsches DO in fact drink water. My next one will water cooled, which will be either a 928 OR a 996 TT. Gotta love water cooled!

Remember it takes all kinds to keep the hobby strong. Would you go out and buy a Model T? - Probably not, but I am sure you would use that same $$$ to buy a nice GTS! - See my point? Different strokes...just appreciate each other's tastes and learn from one another...
