Default Laguna Seca this weekend

Joseph and I will be bringing our 928's to race at Laguna Seca this weekend with the POC. I can only hope to have the same luck as last time I was there. First on Saturday and first on Sunday with a 1:30 second lap time. By far my best ever. If you compare that to a Z06 on a different track with 70% humidity and no wind chill it equals oh never mind

I look forward to the post race report; I'm guessing it's not televised.

Good luck Mark - show them what a real car is.

Here is a link to the car that finished in second behind me last time.
http://www.nine11design.com/911fpm.html
From their web site:

(measured on 911 design in house Dynapack chassis dyno)
- 630 pounds of torque(3) at 7200 RPM

We may be getting off 101 at Bailey and going on some backroads. We could meet at the Watsonville/Hecker Pass junction if we go that way. Keep checking in here.

Mark's problem was a "dead" rear knock sensor. The "Sharktuner" makes easy work out of finding that kind of stuff. Inseresting thing the knock sensor did. When you first started the engine, the knock sensor would show bad, but then show up good. The only problem was that the timing was fully retarted. So, I guess the brain decided that the signal it was getting was not bad, but solid knocks. New sensor fixed it.

Off topic: Bill.......I'm driving up to Berkeley this weekend to drop my son off at school. You want me to come by and take that Norton off your hands?
