WEISSACH, hmmm.

Looks like another road trip for someone in N. Texas.

There appears to be a lot of sun damage to the interior.

Very nice... are the parts of the seats (all of them) that you sit on supposed to be a different color than the rest of the interior? It is odd that all 4 seats are that way if that is not the way it was supposed to be. Car looks really good though!

Oh, Roger... Time for another road trip bro! There is one here in Austin too, but it is in FAR POORER condition!

Roger alray has a 5-speed Weissach, besides he should be just getting back from the current road trip to pick up the 78.

The seats are supposed to be two different shades of color and except for the driver's seat I think the interior looks fantastic for a 26 year old car, in fact everything on it looks fantastic!

Hmm, those two front seats look beat. They definitely don't look like 25K mile babied seats. Either the car has spent some time in the sun or the mileage is off. Ayone run a carfax on it yet?

Thanks Jim...I thought they all looked to consistently different for it NOT to have been purposeful. Glad to know.

Rog is back...been back most of the day I guess since he has already had time to post a pic of the car sitting in front of his house! Very cool! I look forward to an auto '78 in Kermit green someday!

I'd have to agree. These seats look like they never been cared for. I only had a ride in a 928S back in the early nineties and have always loved the exhaust note. Quite a bit different from my Boxster!

Don'y get to excited - its only a 5 speed and it has rub strips.
No luggage either.
Its spent a lot of time outside for the interior to be warped at the back like that.
Front looks excellent and more in line with the milage.
I wonder if the odometer still works?

Car has been repainted!

They did not come with painted hood latches, the driver side fender is not original, and both fenders have been off the car. The rear hood snubbers are missing and the paint on the fenders in side the engine bay do not match with the weather stripping being missing! The pass side shock tower appears to have primer over spray, and the AC radiator brackets have never matched any car's color scheme that I know of to date.

Does anyone else see these, plus the possible over spray on the wiper motor and plastic cover?

Man you have good eyes. Isn't that a new radiator? I'll have to look at my supports tomorrow.

Car comes back clean on AutoCheck, but something's fishy on this. Also... no luggage.

Andre good eyes.

Rear rubber gaskets are also shot. I also noted the missing S/N stickers on the fenders but I wasn't sure when Porsche started using them.

Somethings not right.

Andre,
The latches and hood hinges are yellow chromate and in this case closely match the color of the car.
No fender stickers on an 82. Does not look painted to me from the pics.
I also do not see any primer over spray.
Seller is a used car salesman and has a couple of bad feedbacks - one for not describing the car correctly.
Definitly had a new rad - well spotted Jason.
No jump post cover either so what else has not been taken care of.
I still think its a pretty good car but needs a set of 928 eyes to look at it first hand.
