I remember some debates on this a few years ago and reading that it would not be feasible. Can't remember if that was due to costs or simply the fit. In any case I have it on good authority that there is such a 928S4 with a Cayenne TT V8 running around Paris France. I'm waiting for more info on this but in the meantime does anyone here know about any swaps?

wasnt the idea that the heads ( Pepper engine )would hit the frame (shock towers ) IIRC.. but then again with enough desire and cash anything is possilble

Since Carrera GT V10 has very low oil pan its very likely it would be much easier to install into 928 than Cayenne V8. No matter if V8 is NA or TT.

The only CGT engine I have heard of being for sale guy was asking a whopping $80,000. At that price who cares if it fits.

Like so many possibilities with the 928 in the last 7 years it's no longer a question of unlikely, the car exists. What I'm waiting on now are the mechanical details and cost figures. I'll post soon as I get that stuff.
