I was in Wakefield today, a popular touristic small town, 35min from Ottawa.
Traffic was slow both ways do to the "town crew" cutting the weeds on the side of the road.
At a certain point I crossed a lone middle aged man (gray hair and beard) in a red Miata, as I passed him he said "Ferrari!".
I din't have the time to rectify is error but I'm sure the my backside did.

I would have ran the guy off the road for an insult like that. You have the patience of a saint.

For the past 2 years the young kid at the corner store kept complimenting me on my "Ferarri" but last night I didn't pull up to the pumps, I pulled right up to the front door. His comment was, and I quote "Hey..have you seen Scar Face? Is that the car from that movie? Wow, I've never seen one in person"
I smiled and said, yes. It sure is. Nice kid, hard worker.

I've owned several Ferrari's. They are very nice. They were all every bit as good and fast and tight and "pure" as my 928.
Don't knock 'em if you don't know 'em.

This reminded me of when I had a black Mercedes 6.9 sedan that my very young son was convinced was The Batmobile. Probably only because it was very shiny black and fast. He couldn't wait to go for a ride in "The Batmobile", even if it was just around the neighborhood. Those were good times.

Erik.
I don't know which model that is exactly. But I would bet that you could see many positive attributes. Don't get me wrong' my 928 is a better car for me now. My Ferrari's were very good too. BTW I owned an 84 TR, an 85 400i, and an 04 Maserati GT. I miss 'em all.

My father picked it up last winter.
The photo was after my first attempt to fix something on it (thermostat.....ugh...) and washing it. I couldn't pass up the photo op so I rolled the replica cobra out of the garage.
The Cobra would stop traffic by itself, the two of them together almost caused a few accidents![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I went down to Iowa last fall / winter with an enclosed trailer to "ok" the purchase of the 355. Two days before I was scheduled to leave the huge ice storm came through. So not only could I not test drive it, we couldn't even roll it out of the garage so I could see it in daylight!!!![surrender](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/surrender.gif)
Talk about a nerve racking vehicle inspection. The 75+ page PDF of repair history made it easier (only 15,000 miles).
It has the Tubi exhaust, factory vacuum / rpm actuated exhaust cut outs. 2nd gear, full throttle up to 8,500rpm is sweet.
