I have sent an email to the cruise director asking about parking. I am hoping to get us a small reserved spot inside the car show but that may be tough.

As for dinner. I would love to meet up for dinner. Here is a list of restaurants. I have eaten at Flippers Pizza and it was good. I am open to suggestions. restaurant voting will end on Thursday.

Flipper's is fine with me. If parking in the show falls through I am going to park over on the east side behind Red Lobster, parking on the west side of Old Town sucks IMHO. Hell, Red Lobster sounds better to me every time I type it.

As much as we'd like to be there, we can't make it down this time. Between other commitments & it being on a Friday just makes it impossible for us with the 5-6 hour round trip. Hope everyone has lots of fun representing with your 928s.


Make sure you also mark your calendars for Oct. 10th-12th for our annual Sharks at Daytona 928 get together. It will be in conjunction with the OktoberFast PCA races again this year. I'll post a thread next week & send out an email to the Fla 928 faithful.

I with Brian, Red Lobster Parking Lot. UNLESS Fabio gets us hooked up with a designated 'cruise' area. Until then I think we all need to agee on a tentative spot and make a plan. I'm coming from Daytona, picking up a friend in Titusville and hope to be there by 6:30 - 7:00.

And barring some unforseen catastrophe, I will be in the GTS.

We can deff. join in on the car show and cruise. Thats not a problem. The only problem I saw with that is that we aren't all going to arrive at the same time so we wouldn't be parked in the same area. I will call Old Town again today and try to get some resolution.

Lets tentatively agree to park at Red Lobster with the intention to enter the cruise all at once so we can park together. The car show starts at 5:00pm and the cruise/parade begins at 9:00pm. How about this. Lets meet starting at 6:00pm , eat at 7:00pm at flippers and then drive across the street to enter the car show together at 8:00. This will allow us to park together and cruise together as a group. Hows that?

We can place your car club behind the General Store. As your club members arrive please have them tell the person they register with they are with the Porsche car show and we will direct them to the correct area. We look forward to seeing these amazing cars.

I'll defer my opinion to you guys familiar with Old Town. But I would think if they are reserving a special area for us, we should use it.

My vote goes to Reserved Parking in Old Town and Flippers Pizza.

I agree but I didn't want to ram it down anyones throat. I respect your opinions and I think we should take the reserved spots.

BTW, you should read the letter I sent to the cruise coordinator. Maybe I'll post it later when I get to my hotel. I'm gonna crash if I keep posting from I-95.

Hey guys, I might be able to show up with my 944 just to hang out and see all the 928's, if thats alright. My attendance will be pending upon my work schedule for that day, so if I make it I'll make it and if not, then hopefully next time!
