I remember the honey bee. That little Datsun was clean clean.
I'll post a couple more pics later. Unfortunately, they are all of the 928's.
We had a great time last night welcoming RngTrtl to the FL 928 community. We also had another couple of new folks show up. I would like to welcome Johny, and Big Easy Sharkster. Johny couldn't bring his 85 Euro because he was dealing with a fuel leak inside the cabin. Big Easy has a really clean GTS but unfortunately he didn't get to eat dinner with us because his attention was on all of the hot cars in the area. I can understand that
Don Berry (DJBMini) and his wonderfull family showed up for a little while. It was great to see them again. He still has the 928 affliction, he has just been busy with his new babies. I think we will see more of him in the near future. There were also a few other new faces from which I meant to get contact info, but I never did.
The go karting last night was an absolute blast. Russel was able to make it to the go karts the fastest so unfortunately we didn't get to ride together. There was a group of eight of us waiting in line to get on the go karts and all of the sudden we heard a crashing sound on the track. I turned around to see Russel and his friend battling for position while coming down a steep hill. The hill ended in a hard right turn. Well, neither one of them were able to make the turn. Russels partner went into the pits and slammed almost full speed into the parked go-karts and Russel careened into the pits as well. Luckily russel didn't hit anything and was able to move a cone and go back on his way. The peanut allery ( the rest of us) made a joke that Russels pal was taking tires and fuel but Russel only took on fuel and went back on the track.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I spent the night with Firemed, Angel84, RngTrtl and our families. Needless to say, with us on the track there were alot of full course cautions.
The funniest thing came in the last race of the night. RngTrtle and I were battling as we went around the track. I was slightly in front. We were coming around this curve that ended in a steep 15' - 20' incline. He got bumped from behind and in turn bumped me which caused me to spin. The track officials killed the karts with a remote kill switch so they could straighten out the 5 car pileup I was involved in. There was about 15 seconds of calm as the track officials began to untangle the cars. All of the sudden, Ms. Lilly ( Firemeds Wife) comes barreling down the hill backwards at full speed and slams into young boy in his kart. She was about two feet short of taking the track official out at the back of his knees. She hit that little kid so hard he bounced back about 15 feet. No one got hurt so it was hilarious.
We had a really good time. I think we should do it again. Next time we need to get even more people involved in the go-karts.
Thanks to everyone for coming. You Rock

It was great!! I think we need to plan more outings like that as well as wrench sessions.
I have new found motivation to finish my ride. I'd like to thank everyone that I had the pleasure to meet for the great camaraderie. The warmth and fellowship was a welcomed break from my day-to-day grind.
Shawn, Thanks for taking the lead on this one. Great Job!!
My only regret is that our Florida Den Mother, Mel wasn't able to attend. You were missed.

Hey All!
That was a good time. That needs to become regular event. The parking for the cars was perfect, the cruise was fun and lots of stuff to do around there for everyone.
As far as the so called "karting incident" goes, I'll just say that I meant to do that.

Many thanks to all there for the warm welcome and good times. The go-karting was super fun and have not had that much fun in a long time. The story that Fab tells was absolutely funny as hellin person. I hope that we can all get together soon again sometime; I'll be up for it. Again many thanks for the great hospitality
